Forj is happy to announce the New sitewide Resource Library, allowing Admins to upload a resource once and then provide access of that resource to multiple Groups or Member types. This new feature centralizes access to resources across your site, stays in sync with Group-level libraries automatically, and gives Admins and Members a single unified experience for finding and managing content.
Admins can add a summary and description to resources, while selecting who is able to view or edit. Resources can be bundled together based on similar format, topic, or content. Video resources can also be bulk uploaded from your Vimeo Video account.
Note that when a resource is made accessible to a Parent Group, that permission will not automatically cascade to all associated Child Groups, or from Child to Parent.

When is the New Resource Library Available?
WHEN IS THE NEW RESOURCE LIBRARY AVAILABLE?
The new Resource Library feature is being rolled out in phases. For organizations currently using Group Resources, there is still functionality we want to make sure is fully supported before making the switch. Group Resources is a high-impact area of Forj Connect, and we want to get it right.
Forj will reach out when your organization is ready for the upgrade. In the meantime, nothing changes for you or your users. Sites currently leveraging Group Resources can utilize this article for support.
