Forj Learn now includes Custom Certificate Templates, so you can design branded Certificates for each of your courses. Build as many Certificate Templates as you need: one for CE credit, another for a certificate of completion, or a special design for your flagship program. Each Certificate Template fills in automatically with the right details for every Learner, such as name, course title, completion date, and credit amount and type. You decide where each field goes on the page. Add your own text, logos and images, and arrange everything with columns and tables for a polished, professional layout.
With new Course Metadata, Admins can also include custom fields to any Course, like program codes or accreditation statements, and show them on Certificates automatically.
Note that Admins don’t need to do anything to keep issuing certificates. All courses use the Default Certificate Template automatically, with your existing logo, signature and printed name. The Default Certificate Template design is similar to the previous certificate, with small text updates that can be edited if desired.

- Select Credits and then add the Type and Amount to determine how this will display on the Certificate.
- Select Learner and enter a name to determine how the Name field will display on the Certificate.

Standard items pull content from the course and the platform: Learner Name, Course Title, Certificate Issued Date, Credit Hours, Credit Name, Credit Abbreviation. These can be rearranged on the template, and text can be added before, after, or in between these fields as needed.
Note that the Community image is what displays as the Logo on the Certificate Template. The design elements on the page can be moved, the images and text can be resized.
- Hover an image to edit, realign, or preview.
- Click on text to open text editing options. Text size and font can be adjusted, and color can be changed.
- Click on a blank line to view an expandable menu.
- Expand the menu to select from Heading Styles, Bulleted List, Numbered List, Divider, Inserting an Image, Table, Columns, Repeating Sections, or Variables.
Columns can be used to separate content on the same line. The 2 Columns option was used for the Credit Accreditor Logo and Accreditation Statement and The Forj Team signature in the example below.
Note the slider to adjust the amount of space for each column. If blank space is needed between the fields, use the 3 Columns option. Images such as signatures can be dragged and dropped and text can be typed directly into a column.
Variables can include Certificate data, Course data or metadata, and Learner specific data.
