Profile Settings are where you control the type and frequency of Email notifications you receive from your Community and Group(s). Here you decide if you want to receive instant notifications, a daily summary Email, comment notifications, and/or Event notifications. Notification options like unsubscribing can also be selected via links in Community Emails.
Note that all of these settings can be changed at any time if you would like to update the number or kind of Email notifications you are receiving.

NAVIGATE TO PROFILE SETTINGS
Follow the steps below to navigate to your Profile Settings:
- Click your Member icon.
- Select Profile Settings.
This will display your Member information, any integrations, and your Notifications.
All of the Notifications on the page will allow you to control the types of emails you would like to receive. Toggle the Notification on to the right to receive that type of email notification.
*Note there is an Unsubscribe from all option if desired.
UPDATE PROFILE SETTINGS
This section will cover all of the different Notification settings in the order that they are displayed on the page.
FEED ACTIVITY
From the highlights section, you can decide if you would like to receive the Community or Group email highlights, and how often. From the dropdown, you can decide which Groups to receive these notifications from, or you can leave the default setting of any group I'm in.
From the Immediate emails section, you can decide if you would like to receive a notification for specific actions or Groups. From the dropdown, you can decide which Groups to receive these notifications from, or you can leave the default setting of any group I'm in.
*Note that the manager announcements selection also applies to Email Blasts, which are usually sent when Admins have urgent messages for the Community.
*Note that if you are a Group Manager or Moderator, the setting for private replies on my posts must be toggled on in order to receive Email Blast responses via Email.
EVENTS
Here you can decide if you would like to receive a notification when you are invited to an Event, and an hour before an Event is scheduled to occur. From the dropdown, you can decide which Groups to receive these notifications from, or you can leave the default setting of any group I'm in.
COMMUNITY RECOGNITION
Here you can decide if you would like to receive a notification when you have been assigned a Badge by an Administrator. These recognize your contributions to the Community and are visible to other Members.
MODERATION
Here you can decide if you would like to receive a notification when your content has been flagged, blocked, or approved for Moderation. This may happen for toxic or inappropriate content, and other Members are able to flag content that violates Community guidelines. Moderation may also be a default setting for the Group where all content must be approved.
LEARNING
Here you can decide if you would like to receive a notification when you enroll in or complete a Course.
*Note that Learning settings will only display for Communities utilizing the Forj Learn feature.
GROUP MANAGEMENT
Here you can decide if you would like to receive a notification for Post engagement, when a new Member has applied to join the Group, or when a Post requires Moderation.
*Note that only Members who have been setup as a Group Manager or Moderator will have these settings.
UPDATE PREFERENCES VIA EMAIL
To update notification preferences via email, click the link located at the bottom of the email to adjust your email preferences.
UNFOLLOW POST VIA EMAIL
To unfollow specific Posts and stop receiving emails made on that Post, click the link located at the bottom of the Email to Unfollow this post. To unfollow specific Post threads, click the link located at the bottom of the Email to Unsubscribe.
