The August release focuses on enhancing learning management with improved course organization, tiered membership pricing, and better assessment integrity through randomized quizzes. Significant platform enhancements have also been made to deliver faster performance and a more intuitive user interface.

OAuth 2.0 SSO
Enable user authentication through your Identity Provider by connecting with OAuth 2.0 protocols. This is similar to the existing OIDC Authentication Provider but covers more providers.

Forj Learn

Membership Management
We’ve introduced Membership Tiers, giving you more flexibility to organize your learning Community. Create different levels of memberships so you can better tailor Course offerings to your Learners’ needs.

Membership Tiers can be added to the User Interface or via API. Once Membership Tiers are added, they can be bulk assigned to Members.

Membership Tiers can then be used for conditional pricing of Courses. Just select the tier and indicate the pricing for those Members. 

Shuffle Quiz Questions
We’ve made some exciting improvements to the Quiz experience to give Admins and Learners more flexibility and insight. You can now shuffle the order of Quiz questions so each Learner gets a unique question flow. This helps prevent answer sharing, encourages authentic learning, and makes assessments more engaging.

Forj Connect

• Faster Collapsible Sections - Collapsible sections now load more quickly, so both Admins and Learners can expand and collapse content with less delay. This small improvement adds up to smoother navigation across the platform.

Forj Learn

• Redesigned Course Navigation - We’ve improved the Course Catalog to simplify discovery and make it easier for learners to track their progress. Completed Courses now appear in a dedicated tab, keeping discovery separate from the Learner’s transcript.

• Enhanced Certificate Preview - The Certificate preview has been polished with improved styling. Course Admins can now see a clearer, more accurate view of how certificates will look before they’re sent to Learners.
• Simplified Publishing Flow - To reduce clutter, we removed the “Publish” item from the Course builder navigation. Publishing is still just as simple—find it in the Course Actions menu in the upper right corner. This update streamlines the workflow and avoids confusion.
