The Course Awards page displays the messaging and awards that Learners can earn once they complete the course. Here Learning Admins can determine how Learners earn awards and include a completion message. Admins can also setup how many and type of Credits that are being offered. The Certificate offered can be previewed as well. Follow the steps below to complete the Course Awards page. 

 

 

COURSE AWARDS PAGE

The Course Awards page is where Learning Admins will determine the issuing strategy for Credits and Certificates upon completion of the course. 

ISSUING STRATEGY

Select how learners will receive their awards from the Issuing Strategy dropdown.

  • Select Automatically upon course completion if learners should receive their Certificate and any Credits after they have completed all course pages. 
  • Select Manually by course admin if the Learning Admin will need to enter into the course and manually mark learners as complete for learners to receive their Certificate and any Credits. 

COMPLETION MESSAGE

Define the content that will be displayed to a learner upon course completion from the Completion Message. The Completion Message is prepopulated with text, but this can be edited by Learning Admins.

Note that there are options to bold, underline, or italicize text. Learning Admins can also highlight text to add header sizes. Numbered or bullet-point lists, links, emojis, and images can be added.

GROUP INVITATIONS

Define the group that learners will receive an invitation to upon course completion from the Group Invitations dropdown. Note that this step is optional.

  • Select a Group from the dropdown list if desired. 
  • Remove a Group by clicking the X icon if desired.

CREDITS

Define the credits available to learners upon course completion from the Credits section. 

  • Click the Add Credit link.
  • Enter a numerical value into the hours and minutes text box.
    • For example, 1.5 credits should be entered as 1 hour and 30 minutes. 
  • Choose an option from the Credit Type dropdown. 
  • Delete a Credit Type with the trashcan icon if desired. 

CERTIFICATE

Preview the certificate learners will earn upon course completion from the Certificate section. 

  • Once all selections are made and the page is complete, click the Save button.
