The first section when building a new course is the Course Goals page. The overarching goals for the course can be entered here to provide a description and objectives for Learners. Follow the steps below to complete the Course Goals page. 

COURSE GOALS PAGE SETUP

Begin by adding a course image to display in the Catalog. Enter the Course image in the space with the camera icon. 

• Click or drop an image to upload.
  • Note that images are dynamic, and adjust with the width of the screen on which they are viewed. Recommended image size is 1600x230 pixels. 
• Enter the Course Title.
  • This can include a maximum of 500 characters, and special characters can be used. 
• Add the intended audience if desired.
  • There is no character limit, and special characters can be used.
  • There are formatting options to bold, underline, or italicize your text. Numbered or bullet point lists can be created, and links or emojis can be added. Highlight any text to add a link.  
• Enter the Short Description of the course.
  • This can include a maximum of 360 characters, and special characters can be used. 
• Enter the Detailed Description.
  • There is no character limit, and special characters can be used.
  • There are formatting options to add header sizing or bold, underline, or italicize your text. Numbered or bullet point lists can be created, and links or emojis can be added. Highlight any text to add a link.  
• Click the Save button once all required fields are complete.
