The Course Activities dropdown displays the activities that Learners will need to complete to meet the learning objectives of the course. Here Admins can add, edit, or delete activities and arrange the order that Learners will experience them as they work through the course.
This list covers how to add all activity types as well as common course content.

ADD COURSE ACTIVITIES
- Begin by clicking the Activities dropdown.
- Click Add Activity.
- Enter the activity Title in the provided text box. Note that Learners will be able to see this when taking the course.
- Select the Activity Type from the dropdown.
- Click the Add button.
- Continue to add as many activities as desired.
- Click the activity name to add content, edit, or delete the activity.
- Click the Save button if any changes have been made.
As new activities are added, they will be listed in the order that they are created. This is the order in which Learners will experience them when taking the course.
The order can be rearranged with the dot icon to the right. Drag and drop these in the preferred order for the course.
COURSE SECTIONS
The Section Activity type allows Learning Admins to add different sections to a course that can be used to divide course content into sections, chapters, or modules.
STUDY ACTIVITY
The Study Activity allows Learning Admins to add several different types of content to the course. This is commonly used for Course introduction or resources pages. Study Activities can include text, links, images, videos, or documents.
ATTESTATION ACTIVITY
The Attestation Activity allows Learning Admins to include an attestation statement, as well as content such as video or documents that may need to be reviewed. Learners will need to click the attestation checkbox to move forward in the course.
SURVEY ACTIVITY
The Survey Activity allows Admins to create a survey, evaluation, or questionnaire to gather feedback from Learners. This could include questions about the course content, speakers, or instructors. Surveys can include Multiple Choice, Rate Scale, Long Answer, and Short Answer question types. It is also possible to link to surveys that have been created in sites outside of the Community.
QUIZ ACTIVITY
The Quiz Activity allows Admins to add quizzes, exams, or tests to gauge Learner knowledge. The Quiz Activity can include Multiple Choice and True/False question types. Admins determine the number of attempts, the required score to pass, and whether the system will capture and retain correct answers for each additional attempt. Images can be used in the activity Description as well as each question text box.
VIMEO VIDEO ACTIVITY
Link your Vimeo videos using our integrated activity. This will embed the video on the Course page, and allow Admins to set a required watch percentage of the video.
SCORM ACTIVITY
It is possible to embed a SCORM file to display on the Course page or setup as a pop-up activity. Progress will be tracked and results will be displayed once completed.
ZOOM WEBINAR ACTIVITY
Zoom Meetings can be scheduled within the Course, Select the Host, Date/Time, the minutes to join, Time Zone, and set Email reminders for the Event.
ADD A WEBINAR
Use the Study Activity to include a live webinar link in the Course if you are using a webinar platform other than Zoom. Webinar date/time, agenda, topics, and speaker can also be included on the Course page.
ADD TEXT
Use the Study Activity to include text on course pages. This can be used to inform Learners on the course objectives or provide them with instructions.
ADD AN IMAGE
Use the Study Activity to upload images to display on course pages, as well as alongside text that is added to the course page.
UPLOAD A DOCUMENT
Use the Study Activity to upload documents in many formats including Word, PDF, or PowerPoint.
EMBED A GOOGLE FORM
Use the Study Activity to embed a Google form as a way to gather survey information from Learners on the course page. Note that Learners may experience an error if there are view restrictions on the form settings.
EMBED A VIDEO
Use the Study Activity to embed videos from Vimeo Video or YouTube on a course page. Note that the playbar settings from Vimeo Video will be respected on the embedded video. Learners can click the play button to begin.
