Credit can be earned by members who have completed Forj Learn Courses. Different credit types can be offered, and all credit types need to be setup in the Community Settings prior to creating a course. Follow the instructions below to learn how to add a credit type to your Community.
ADD CREDIT TYPE
- Click the Community icon, and then click the Community Settings link.
- Select the Learning tab.
Here you will see the Learning Settings page as well as the Credit Types section.
The Credit Types section will show all previously created Credit Types. There is a column for Name of the Credit Type, the Abbreviation that will show in the member's certificate, Provider ID if this has been entered, and Accreditation Statement if this has been entered.
There is an Actions column to Edit any existing Credit Type.
- Click the Add Credit Type link.
- Fill out the Credit Types form with Credit Name and Abbreviation.
- The Accreditation Statement, Accreditor Logo, and Provider ID are optional but can be entered if desired.
- Note if entering a logo the recommended minimum size is 72x72pixels.
- After completing the form, click the Add button.
After the Credit Type has been added, it will be available for selection when creating a course that offers credit.
