Forj is happy to provide Community Admins flexibility and control over the Navigation Menu through the new Site Menu Settings page. Admins can reorder tabs and add external links to tailor the menu to the Community's needs. Note that this will update the menu for your entire Community.
Alongside this added flexibility, the Navigation Menu has been redesigned with a cleaner, more streamlined look that reduces visual clutter and makes it easier for both Admins and Members to find what they need.

MANAGE SITE MENU
Follow the steps below to rearrange the Navigation menu tabs.
- Click the Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Site Menu.
This will display all of the Navigation Menu tabs as they are currently placed in the Navigation bar.
- Drag and drop menu options in your preferred order.
ADD LINKS TO SITE MENU
Admins may need to allow easy access to external links for their Members. Follow the steps below to add linked tabs to the Navigation Menu.
- Click the Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Site Menu.
This will display all of the Navigation Menu tabs as they are currently placed in the Navigation bar.
- Click Add Link.
- Enter the Label in the text box. This will become the title of the tab in the Navigation Menu.
- Enter the URL for the external link.
The linked Navigation Menu tab will display at the bottom of the list but the order can be changed. When Members click this tab it will open in a new window.
- Click the Pencil icon to edit the link or the title.
- Drag and drop to rearrange the placement of the linked tab.
NAVIGATION MENU UPDATES
The Navigation Menu has been redesigned with a cleaner, more streamlined look that reduces visual clutter and makes it easier for both Admins and Members to find what they need.
All Navigation Menu tabs are aligned, Groups and Conversations have their own dropdown menus that remember your previous setting.
When the Groups tab is expanded, Groups are displayed with an additional dropdown for any parent/child Groups. The Create Group option for Admins is also displayed.
When the Conversations tab is expanded, ongoing chats are listed as well as the Search bar and the option to start a New Conversation.
