If you have set your SCORM Activity to display to users in a popup window (shown below), Learners will be required to allow a popup window to be opened. Steps to complete this will depend on the Device type Learners are using.
Follow the steps below to enable Popups for the completion of a Course with a SCORM Activity.
WINDOWS
Once a Learner has decided to enroll in a Course they will then be presented with this screen:
Once a Learner selects Open Activity in New Window they will see:
This should be accompanied by a pop out window that contains the lesson itself. If that is missing the Learner may have experienced a blocked pop-up.
To remedy this issue the user can follow these steps in Google Chrome and Edge:
Select the Pop Up Blocked icon from the URL bar and select "Always Allow" and then Done.
Shown Here:
Once allowed, refresh the page and select the Open Activity in a New Window. This should allow the Learner to see the course and complete it.
ANDROID
The Learner will see this button:
The Learner should have a window open in the background. In Chrome the user may see a number in the upper right hand corner indicating a new tab has opened in the background.
Note that all pop-up pages on Chrome will open in the background and tab must be switched.
Additionally, Learners may experience a blocked pop-up as that is the default setting on Chrome. To adjust this setting:
Learners can navigate to the 3-Dot menu in the upper right corner of the browser. From there learners will see this menu:
The Learner can then scroll to settings at the bottom of this menu and from there follow this menu to find Site Settings.
Site Settings
Once the Learner has clicked into Site Settings they can go to Pop-Ups and Redirects:
The user should see this setting toggled "Off" however if it is on there should be at least 1 site listed which should be the site for the Journey By Forj community they are participating in.
Once allowed it is important to refresh the page again to allow that new setting to take effect.
