Admins can create Post Templates that can be used throughout the Community. Follow the steps below to create a Community level Post Template.

CREATE COMMUNITY POST TEMPLATE
- Navigate to Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Templates.
This will display all of the available Templates, including the default templates provided by Forj.
- Click the Create Template button, and select either Discussion or Poll.
- Name the Template.
- Enter the Subject in the What's this about? text box.
- Enter the content of the Template in the What would you like to say? text box, using any of the text editing options.
- Click the Create New Template button.
EDIT COMMUNITY POST TEMPLATE
Admins can edit created or copied Templates if needed. Follow the steps below to edit a Community Post Template.
- Navigate to Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Templates.
- Click the three dot icon for the desired Template.
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
This will open the Template with the current text.
- Update the text using the text editing options as desired.
- Click the Post button when changes are complete.
This will update the Last modified date for the Template.
DUPLICATE COMMUNITY POST TEMPLATE
Admins can duplicate existing Templates if needed. Follow the steps below to duplicate a Community Post Template.
- Navigate to Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Templates.
- Click the three dot icon for the desired Template.
- Select Duplicate from the dropdown menu.
This will rename the Template "Copy of" the original title.
RENAME COMMUNITY POST TEMPLATE
Admins can rename created or duplicated Templates if needed. Follow the steps below to rename a Community Post Template.
- Navigate to Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Templates.
- Click the three dot icon for the desired Template.
- Select Rename from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the new name for your Template.
- Click the Save Changes button.
DELETE COMMUNITY POST TEMPLATE
Admins can delete created or duplicated Templates if needed. Follow the steps below to delete a Community Post Template.
- Navigate to Community Menu.
- Select Community Settings.
- Select Templates.
- Click the three dot icon for the desired Template.
- Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm by clicking the Yes, delete button.
