Introduction posts are a great way to get Members more involved in the Community. This feature encourages Members to start creating personal connections with others by introducing themselves and getting welcomed back by the community. It’s the first step to achieving belonging for the member of the community. 

SETUP INTRODUCTIONS POSTS

Admins can setup the Introduction Posts feature within each Group as desired. 

Follow the steps below to setup Introduction Posts for a Group.

• Navigate to the desired Group.

• Click the three dot icon.

• Select Settings. 

• Select Membership Permissions.

• Toggle Introductions on to the right. 

• Click the Save changes button.

MEMBER VIEW

When New Members join the Group they will see the Introduce yourself banner in their feed.

Once they click the Say Hi button, an automated intro appears for their Post. 

Members can tell the Group about themselves, describe why they joined the Community, or share what they'd like to gain from the Community.

Once posted, the Introduction will be highlighted in the feed so that it stands out to other Community Members, and encourages them to welcome the new Member to the Community.
