Tagging is an easy way to get the attention of another Member in your Community. A tagged Member can receive a notification in the Community platform and via email stating that they were mentioned.
Once the tagged Member clicks the notification, they will be directed to the Post or Comment. Clicking on the tagged Member's name will direct you to their profile where you can start a private chat.

MENTION A MEMBER
Follow the steps below to mention a Member:
- Type the @ symbol into the text box.
- Begin typing the Member's name.
- Select the desired Member and their name will turn into a link.
MENTION VIA MOBILE APP
Follow the steps below to mention a Member via the Mobile App:
- Type the @ symbol into the text box.
- Begin typing the Member's name.
- Tap a name to select it from the menu.
Note that if you send a message and forget to mention someone, editing the message to include the @ mention or keyword will not trigger a notification.

Members will need to set the following notification preference in their Profile Settings to receive the notifications.
Follow the steps below to setup mention notifications.
- Click on user image.
- Select Profile Settings.
- Toggle the @ mentions of me notification setting on.
