The first communication with Members should make an impression and set the tone for your new Community. Successful Communities address important house rules, direct new Members to helpful information, and instruct new Members on how to best introduce themselves. Forj recommends creating a pinned Welcome Post. Check out this article for some great templates to consider for your Welcome Post.

CREATE A WELCOME POST

Follow the steps below to create a Welcome Post:

• Navigate to the Feed and select Discussion.

• Enter an engaging title in the What's this about? text box.
  • Use a Template if desired by clicking the Template icon and selecting Templates. 

• Add content in the What would you like to say? text box.
  • Note that pictures, animated GIFs, and files can be added to the Post to make it more engaging. 

• Click the Post button. 

PIN A POST

Follow the steps below to pin a Post:

Click the three dot icon.

Select Pin Post.

Pinned posts will have a pushpin icon and will stay at the top of the Feed. This ensures that every new Member joining your Community will be able to see your Welcome Post.
