Each Group must have a unique Group email address, and this can be used like a listserv or Group email list. If you allow Members to post to the Group, they can use the Group email address to message the entire Group. When creating a new Group you'll be prompted to enter your Group email address, and this can be changed if desired.
Follow the steps below to change a Group email address.
- Navigate to the desired Group.
- Click the three dot icon.
- Select Settings.
- Select Email Settings.
- Enter the new address in the Group email address text box.
- Click the Save changes button.
Note that when changing the Group email address, posts that were sent with the old email address will exist only on the platform, and will not be available through email anymore.
After the email address is changed, when Members attempt to reply back to a post with the old group email address, they will receive an email notification letting them know the Group email address has been changed.
