CREATE HASHTAGS
Desktop and Mobile Web
When creating a Post, hashtags can be used to search all the posted content with the same subject. Using a hashtag makes it easier for Members to find relevant content and categorize messages.
Follow the steps below to create a new hashtag:
- Type "#" followed by text into the textbox for a Discussion Post.
- Click the Post button.
Once you have added a Post to the Feed with a hashtag, that will become an existing tag for your Community. Existing hashtags will appear after typing "#" and at least three letters.
Note that punctuation and spaces are not supported in hashtags. Instead, use capitalization or the underscore “_”. For example, #HashtagsAreGreat or #hashtags_are_great
