Admins can send a Daily Group Digest allowing Members to quickly keep up with recent activity within their Groups. Members will receive the Group Digest email containing 1-5 Posts created from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm on the previous day. The Posts will be listed in chronological order and the number of Posts in the digest will depend upon their length and when they were posted.
Members will not receive Posts they've authored in their own Digest. Members will also not receive Posts in which they were mentioned, to prevent redundant emails based on their Notification Settings. Event Posts are not included in the Daily Group Digest, instead they are sent within the Community Highlights email.
SETUP DAILY GROUP DIGEST
- Navigate to the desired Group.
- Click the three dot icon.
- Select Settings.
- Select Email Settings.
- Toggle the digest of the new posts from each day option on to the right.
- Click the Save Changes button.
GROUP DIGEST EMAIL
The Group Digest Email will indicate the Group and author for each Post. If a Post is clicked from email, Members will be taken directly to the Post in the Community to see any comments or updates.
Members can update their email preferences via the link at the bottom of the digest email. This will allow them to opt out of receiving the Daily Digest or other notifications if desired.
