Members have the ability to choose how they would like to receive event invitations through email. They can receive these emails for all groups or specific groups they are in depending on their settings. Event invites will also send an ICS embedded in the email, automatically adding the event to the member's calendar.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Event reminder emails and "1-hour before" emails are sent to members unless they choose "No" in the Event Email Notification.
NOTE: When the toggle is highlighted to the right it is "on" and when it is white to the left it is "off".
Here's how a member can turn on their event invitation settings:
-In the upper right, click your profile image
-Choose Profile Settings
-Scroll to the Events section
-Find the when I'm invited to events in... and change the toggle so it's highlighted
-The box to the left will change to any group I'm in
To turn off event notifications:
-Find the when I'm invited to events in... and change the toggle so it's not highlighted

Note: If the member just wants to receive event invitations for certain groups, they can click the highlighted box (any group I’m in) and uncheck the groups they do not want to receive event invitations from. If the member does not want to receive event invitation emails from any group they are in, they can click the toggle to off or click the highlighted box then uncheck all the boxes.
Members also have the option to receive event notification emails an hour before an event starts. The toggle is defaulted on and just needs to be clicked to turn it off.
