9:00 GMT- Our team has become aware of an issue involving email deliverability within the Mobilize System. The team has determined that this issue is limited only to platform emails, and the platform and the mobile app, are functioning as intended with no issues sending posts, comments, and more in the platform and app. The mobile app is working as intended with no incidents in posting or being notified through push notifications.
16:00 GMT- The team has resolved the main issue regarding sending emails to and from your communities. However, due to the large number of emails not sent, we are slowly sending them out. We will continue to monitor the situation and update as necessary.
17:30 GMT- As you’ve noticed we had an issue with our email service last night into this morning. Our engineering team worked hard to isolate the issue and ensure that no data was lost as we fixed the email outage. Unfortunately, due to the backlog of emails, the mechanisms we have in place to prevent duplicate emails were overwhelmed and we were not able to prevent all duplicate emails. As a result, some users may have received multiple daily digest or other email notifications.
We are actively working to improve our email service integration to avoid this situation from occurring again and will deploy this new solution as soon as it is tested.
