*Uploading by CSV or Excel is only available to Community Managers and Account Owners.
The process is almost the same as adding members. The only difference is that managers won't have any new email addresses in their spreadsheet, so Forj Connect will simply update records for those existing emails.
Choose the group that member data will be updated in. Go to the Member Database, click Invite Members, then choose Upload excel from the dropdown list.
Note: After the data is imported, managers SHOULD NOT check the box to invite members, unless they would like their members to get another invite.
Here's an example use case:
Suppose there are 12 columns of data, including email addresses, for 1,000 members. One column, for instance, "Company Name", for 100 members has to be updated by the manager. To update these 100 members, the manager could import a spreadsheet with only two columns, "Email" and "Company Name," and 100 rows of members. The manager doesn't need to re-import the other 10 columns or the other 900 emails, since the data isn't changing. No update will be made to the 10 other columns or the 900 other members.
**If a cell in the imported spreadsheet is empty, any existing data will be overwritten.
