Posting In The Feed:

To create a post click the Create post button in the Lounge or click on the text box which says Write something... in the Feed. Give the post a title ("What's this about?") then add the body ("What would you like to say?") of the post. 

Note: For Posts with files, Pubnub access is required (allow requests to/from pndsn.com).

How to add and use Hashtags (#):

When creating a Post, using a hashtag makes it easier for users to find specific relevant content and categorize messages. Use hashtags to search all the community content with the same subject.

When adding a hashtag, existing hashtags will appear after typing # and then three (3) letters. If no hashtags exist with those three (3) letters, pressing Return/Enter after typing the new hashtag creates it and adds it to the Post.

NOTE: Punctuation and spaces are not supported in hashtags. Instead, use capitalization or the underscore “_”. For example, #HashtagsAreGreat or #hashtags_are_great

Editing a post:

Find the Post in the Feed to edit and click the 3 dots in the post's top right corner. Next, edit the post and click the Save Changes button.

Deleting a post:

Find the post in the feed to delete then click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the post. Next, click the Delete Post option then choose No, cancel or Yes, delete to confirm the selection.

That will delete the posts in the Lounge Feed. If posts were sent via email, they would remain in the email that was sent.

**Only Discussion Posts and Events are editable. Polls can not be edited after posting.**

Moderated Groups:

In some groups, managers may require prior review before allowing Posts to be added to the Feed. In that case, members will be presented with the following message after a post is submitted:

From the Feed, members can then see all their pending posts in one place. Clicking on the post will allow them to edit or remove the post from review.

Creating a Post from the mobile app:

Go to the group where the Post will be added then click the + icon:

Select the Post type to create:

From the mobile app members have the ability to view posts that are pending for a manager to approve and members have the ability to edit or delete these posts.
