When creating a Post, use hashtags to search all the posted content with the same subject. Using a hashtag makes it easier for users to find specific relevant content and categorize messages.

When adding a hashtag, existing hashtags will appear after typing # and then three (3) letters. If no hashtags exist with those three (3) letters, pressing Return/Enter after typing the new hashtag creates it and adds it to the Post.

NOTE: Punctuation and spaces are not supported in hashtags. Instead, use capitalization or the underscore “_”.

For example, #HashtagsAreGreat or #hashtags_are_great

Email (Posts and Comments)

When creating a Post by email, you can add tags to your Post directly from your email client.

Just add a hashtag (#) in the body of the email with your text, and our system will automatically recognize the hashtag and tag the Post.

NOTE: Just like on the web version, punctuation and spaces are not supported in hashtags. When adding a hashtag, do not use a space as it prevents it from being created. Instead, use capitalization or the underscore “_”.

For example, #HashtagsAreGreat or #hashtags_are_great

Any hashtags included in Forj Connect Posts will be hyperlinked and directly take you into your community and display all relevant Posts under that hashtag.
